Riakiberu PB
History
This is our second lot from Riakiberu, the first being the AA selection and now we are showcasing Peaberry. Peaberry is a mutation where only one small bean is grown instead of two resulting in a more impactful flavour profile. This mutation often occurs to about 5% of the total crop. Grown at around 1,650 masl in rich volcanic soils and a cool highland climate, this coffee expresses the classic bright and structured Kenyan profile with notes of orange marmalade and nectarine.
