Uji Cup, Blue
The Uji Cup reflects our vision of a home mug and how we want to celebrate the feeling of drinking coffee at home. The campaign shows how we like to enjoy our coffee in a pleasant atmosphere. The creation process of the Uji Cup has been a combination of using techniques inspired by traditional Danish and Japanese ceramics such as the Wabi-Sabi culture as well as the aesthetics of nature surrounding Japan and the island of Bornholm.
The Uji Cup is named after the Japanese city of Uji.
Each cup is thrown and glazed by hand so it is subject to changes in shape and glazing. It means each cup is uniquely its own.
